The Cornerstone Equestrian Club
$20 per student - friends are welcome!
Parents may stay and watch for free
Created as a supplement to our mounted lessons, the Cornerstone Club allows horse enthusiasts to learn through games and hands-on practice everything one needs to be a competent horse owner, trainer, stable manager, groom and competitor. Our Cornerstone Ranking System guides our learning tracks and provides an opportunity for parents to partner with their kids in their education by measuring progress in an easy to understand format. We take advantage of our clubhouse (pictured at right) and divide our time between there and the stables.
Beginner participants play games, practice horse handling, grooming, tacking up, and get to spend lots of hands-on time with our horses in a fun learning environment. More advanced students study conformation, veterinary skills, training, nutrition and horse managment. Students learn through videos, games, crafts, guest speakers, demonstrations and even field trips throughout the year.
The club is open to anyone who loves horses and is age 6 and up.
Inactive or non-CSF students will want to print out and bring a signed copy of a Equestrian Club Release Form so they can participate in all aspects of each meeting.
