Cornerstone Farms is more than just a business venture.  It's a calling.

David and Cortland have five young children and have spent the better part of the last decade looking for opportunities to serve something greater than themselves.  That calling brought them together in Eastern Siberia, Russia in the early 90's, carried them to living in the Middle East from 1999 - 2005, and has now brought them to St. Jacob, IL. They are thrilled to be on this, the next leg, of their life journey.

The first day they saw the beautiful property they now call home, they saw more than just facilities. They saw something they have made it a habit to look for - the chance to touch and change lives - a place where charitable works could flourish.  They saw that the Farm could provide a way of meeting real needs in their community.

"Our time in Russia, Jordan and Iraq taught us several things.  First, life is simply too precious to spend it on just ourselves.  Second, as Americans, we have been entrusted with a wealth of resources, and it should be our ambition to always be giving something back to the community.  We see in Cornerstone Farms the opportunity to live out both of these challenges."
